South Strip – This is probably the most famous part of las Vegas. It is also the hottest. The people who visit here love to party all night long. It is the best places to stay in las Vegas for the young travelers. The young crowds and the casinos keep the partying going all night long.
Downtown Las Vegas – It is the heart of the city. The best restaurants are found here. The casinos are close by and so are the shopping malls. It is also one of the main residential areas in las Vegas. There are many beautiful homes lining the boulevards.
Fremont Street Experience – This is also one of the best neighborhoods in las Vegas. It has a very charming appearance and it is filled with restaurants and hotels. There are beautiful houses and condos lining this street.
Southwestern Promenade – A tourist attraction since the 1960’s. It is basically a nine-block stretch of strip malls, hotels, restaurants, and bars. The hotels and restaurants provide excellent food and entertainment. Also, there are a number of world class casinos in the vicinity of the downtown strip.
Charleston Pocket Park – This neighborhood is south of downtown las Vegas in what is known as the Charleston pocket. The entire area is less than a mile and half long. There are low-rise buildings, some older, some newer. Some have all amenities while others just provide a grill and a parking space.
Sahara Rooftop – One of the most popular places to spend the night in las Vegas. It is on what is called the Sahara Rooftop. There is a very large casino here with all the amenities you will need. The only drawback is that there are no parking and the majority of the guests who come are from the strip or the other larger resorts like Caesars palace. But, if you want to gamble, then this is the place to go.
Fourth Street Promenade – This is one of the oldest areas in las Vegas and it is considered to be one of the best places to stay in las Vegas, especially for a luxury hotel. This area boasts of some of the finest restaurants in town as well as some of the finest luxury hotels in the city. It also has some beautiful art galleries and some of the finest nightclubs in the city. The main landmark of this area is the convention center. It is also home to some of the best clubs in the city.
Fonzi’s Italian Kitchen – It is hard to miss Fonzi’s Italian Kitchen when you are looking for a place to eat in Las Vegas. This is probably the oldest Italian restaurant in town. The interior is classic and the service is top notch. It is located on one of the main streets in downtown and still finds itself getting mobbed quite often.
Historic Downtown – This is a relatively new area being developed in the heart of downtown. It is bordered by Mt Charleston on one side and by the lasik eye surgery on the other. The neighborhood is known for its high end boutiques, trendy shops and it is one of the hottest places to live in the area. The houses and the neighborhoods are designed in a mixed design with some of the houses being lofts.
Bright Lights – This is a relatively new neighborhood that is filled with some of the brightest lights in Las Vegas. The area was designed as an ultra-mopolitan haven and many of the buildings are glass. The shopping areas are very large and there are numerous restaurants. The strip malls and hotels are very well equipped. The Best Western Seven Suites on historic Fremont Street offers all the comfort you would expect from a hotel in this part of town.
North Strip – This is another booming area south of the Strip. It is filled with both strip malls and some of the finest restaurants in the city. The hotels and motels here offer the same quality you would expect in a luxury hotel. There are also many out-of-towners who enjoy the nice amenities these places offer.
